Situated on nearly five acres of pristine lakefront under the watchful eye of Mount Kearsarge, The Oak Room offers some of the finest center-of-the-plate cuts and chops in the Lake Sunapee region. Guests can enjoy a table in the newly renovated 72-seat dining room with stunning views of the quintessential New England scenery. During summer months The Oak Rooms offers outdoor dining on a stone courtyard patio overlooking Pleasant Lake, as well.

The menu features Certified Humane® Natural Black Angus Beef — pasture raised, grain finished, and sustainably and humanely sourced. Complementing our beef are locally grown vegetables and sustainably harvested seafood, alongside a rotating selection of vegan, vegetarian, and pescatarian dishes to ensure there's something for every palate. Every sauce, component, and dessert is crafted entirely in-house from scratch. Gluten-free and dairy-free options are always on hand, and our kitchen is happy to accommodate dietary restrictions whenever possible.

The Oak Room's wine list features nearly 100 bottles curated by our in-house sommelier, with a focus on California Cabernets and Bordeaux-style blends. The bar rounds out the experience with local microbrews, a strong whisky and amaro selection, and expertly crafted cocktails, including playful house originals like our signature Black and Bleu Martini. We recommend arriving early to enjoy a pre-dinner drink in the adjacent Parlor Room or on our Tivoli-lit garden patio.
